Last week, Gamers revealed its elite lineup of Pokemon Gym Leaders from the video game franchise.
This week, Gamers is super-sizing the Pokemon’s Elite Four and transforming the influential trainers’ club into the Super Six. In addition, we also revealed our two favorite champions from the franchise.
Bruno (Fighting Pokemon)
Kicking off our Super Six is two-time Elite Four veteran, Bruno! This fighting type specialist has faced off against millions of trainers in four generations of the video game franchise including Pokemon Red, Blue, Yellow, Gold, Silver, Crystal, and their respective remakes. If you did not have Pokemon that had either Psychic-type, Flying-type, or Water-type moves, trainers teams might be karate chopped by Machamp, Hitmonchan, Hitmonlee, and Hitmontop.
Karen (Dark Pokemon)
When Pokemon Gold & Silver introduced Karen in the Johto Elite Four, she instantly became the Pokemon universe’s edgiest character. She was also the toughest boss that the trainers had to face before facing the champion. What made Karen so difficult to defeat is the fact that had Dark-type powerhouses on her team lineups such as Umbreon, Murkrow, and Houndoom.
Phoebe (Ghost Pokemon)
When players reach EverGrande City in Pokemon Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, OmegaRuby, and AlphaSapphire, they will find one commonality between the Gym Leaders that they faced and the Elite Four: all of the Pokemon are exclusive to the Hoenn region! Phoebe’s all-female team of Pokemon that includes two Banette, two Dusclops, and a Sableye that are looking confuse and poison trainers’ teams.
Flint (Fire Pokemon)
The Sinnoh League’s Flint is probably the most supportive member of any Elite Four. One major act that confirms this fact is that he trusts the player to raise the spirits of his best friend and Sunnyshore City Gym Leader, Volkner, with a Pokemon battle. Also, he also is inspired by your team’s power that he takes his Elite Four defeat graciously.
Caitlin (Psychic Pokemon)
Caitlin is probably one of the most stylized Pokemon trainers of the franchise. Also, she is one of the few trainers that champions carrying one type of Pokemon into battle. Even though she is one of the most stylized Elite Four members that does not mean that she will be a walk in the park. Her Reuniclus, Musharna, and Gothitelle are levels 48 and 50 respectfully, and each of them carries special knockout attacks such as Psychic and Shadow Ball.
Kahili (Flying Pokemon)
The last member of our Pokemon Super Six is Kahili. The final member of the Pokemon: Sun and Moon Elite Four represents something that trainers of all ages have not seen in an Elite Four in 21 years: a Flying-type specialist. While many Pokemon trainers might just automatically use all of their hyper potions on their electric types, Kahili has five different Pokemon that could burn, poison, or slowly crush their teams.
Champion Number One: Lance (Dragon Pokemon)
Lance, the Dragon Master, is one of the most powerful trainers that players have ever faced! Why? His team is full of Dragon-type and dragon-like Pokemon such as Gyarados, Aerodactyl, Charizard, and a slew of Dragonair and Dragonite! But, if trainers successfully beat him in Pokemon Gold, Silver, Crystal, HeartGold, and SoulSilver, you and your team will be inducted into the Pokemon Hall of Fame!
Champion Number Two: Cynthia (Various Pokemon)
Pokemon’s first female champion, Cynthia, completes this line-up! When facing off against Cynthia in Pokemon Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, Black, and White, trainers cannot just focus on defeating one type of Pokemon; they have to be prepared to face multiple types of Pokemon! While she carries only six Pokemon, the players have to deal with anywhere from eight to 11 different types of Pokemon attacks, all in a five-minute battle. If you take down Cynthia and her powerhouse team, you will receive the Sinnoh League Champion title!
