It's almost time. The betas are done, information about Thursday's launch is coming out, and we've been given an endless slew of of pre-launch trailers across the internet. Now, you know there are only a few things left to do in order to prepare for the official Destiny 2 release for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on September 6. As you prepare to be plunged into the newest era of obsessive loot grinding, reward presentations, and endless gar grinds, you are probably wanting to know some of the most important details about the launch of #Destiny2.

By now, there's no doubt that many of you who chose to go digitally have already pre-loaded your copy. If you haven't, you may want to jump on that starting today. Bungie has already set up a time and date for when they are flipping the servers on and letting you dive down into the fall of the City, just as you had in the beta. So here's what you need to know as you prepare for tomorrow's midnight launches.

Just how big is the 'Destiny 2' install size?

Hard drive space when it comes to games is a big deal. Whether you are one to take this variable into account or not, you may want to consider clearing off a bit of room, and prepare for the game. While the game certainly won't be much bigger than Destiny, you may want to take into consideration that these games grow, and quickly thanks to post-launch support and patches.

#Destiny2 is going to launch at a moderately hefty size of 29.15 GB on Xbox One and a solid 30.87 GB on PlayStation 4. It's safe to assume that the PlayStation 4 Pro version is slightly bigger due to the games PlayStation 4 Pro support. There has been no released information about the games install size when the Xbox One X launches in November. It may even increase the install size of the Xbox One version to above 30GB this fall. So do take that bit of news into consideration as well for those of you looking at 4K support on the newer console.

Will my progress carry over from 'Destiny'?

The long story short and a direct answer from DeeJ, Bungie's Community Manager, is no. The only thing that will carry over is your appearance. Gear, light level, sparrows, ships, etc, will be wiped on your Destiny 2 file.

Can I expect to choose a voice for my character?

If the Destiny 2 Closed Beta's taught us anything, we're going to be cringing a bit if you liked having a voiced character. There will not be one this time around. Your character is going to be a silent protagonist and Ghost will seemingly be acting as your voice.

Should I buy the season pass?

That's your call. The Season Pass this time around seems like a pretty solid deal as they won't be pulling a multi-tier approach this time around. If they do, they may see a lot of angry Guardians storming their headquarters with a wealthy amount of complaining to be had.

If you do choose to by the season pass, there's no doubt it will take the need for making a trip to the store or hopping onto the Xbox Marketplace or PlayStation Store at a later date, so might as well save a few bucks, and do it now if you can.

Can I play offline?

Sorry kid, not happening. Bungie has made sure to clear the air about offline play. Destiny as a franchise is an online only cooperative experience. You'll need to have internet access in order to play. So take this into consideration before purchasing.

Do I need an Xbox Live or PlayStation Network subscription to play?

If you don't have one, you'll need to make this happen. You'll have to have an Xbox Live or PlayStation Network Subscription in order to play.

Last but not least, what time do the servers go live?

Since this is the biggest thing you want to know? You're looking at 12AM EST, 11PM CST, and 9PM PST.

Destiny 2 is set to launch on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on September 6, 2017. PC users can expect the game to launch on October 24, 2017 through the Blizzard launcher.
