Top 10 Xbox One Exclusives

This list is not in order of their reviews. I have picked and ordered these in relation to how much I enjoyed my time playing them. I know not everyone will agree with this list, but I still appreciate you taking the time to go through it.

Halo 5: Guardians

Some of these exclusives have also been released on PC (windows), but they technically still count as Xbox One exclusives, since it's the only console you can play them on.

10. 'ReCore'

ReCore is a third person action adventure game, but adds the unique spin of giving you mechanical companions, three in fact. Each robot comes with its special abilities, helping you in taking down enemies, solving puzzles, and to make sure you don't feel lonely in the wide open desert-like world. Enjoy the exploration, the characters, and the unique and different fight style.

9. 'Sea of Thieves'

Don't get me wrong. Sea of Thieves is an excellent game, with its beautiful art direction and massive open world, although the game could be some what of a drag since it's quite repetitive. That being said, trying to maintain the ship with your friends or even people from random match making feels better than ever, but be careful because you could always get attacked by an enemy ship of other online players. Solving riddles that lead you to an island and then finding clues that ultimately show you the way to the treasure is incredibly rewarding.

8. 'Halo: The Master Chief Collection'

The reason this is so low on the list is because it's a remaster and it almost feels unfair to the other exclusives. That being said, you get four incredible and timeless games in one package, and all of them have been remastered and enhanced to run smoothly and beautifully on the Xbox One. That's not all, you also get some of the best first person shooter multiplayer modes ever made. Let's not forget, the multiplayer is the reason Halo is this popular, even though it has an excellent story.

7. 'Quantum Break'

Quantum Break is a trippy, time bending/traveling story with decisions and consequences. The team behind Quantum Break is changing up the formula for a story driven game by including an episode of a live action TV show between every chapter. This addition is both a good and a bad thing. 1) they are well produced and interesting and give you a much needed break sometimes. 2) they are pretty long, so if you want to skip and are like me and have a hint of FOMO (Fear of Missing Out), then you'll sit there watching them and making your game run time almost double. All that being said, the action is excellent. It has a great story and fantastic graphics.

6. 'Dead Rising 4'

If you've played the first 3, as well as the 2.5 and off the record editions, then you know what you're in store for. Dead Rising is a great time of crazy fun, action, and shenanigans, with a funny and insane B horror conspiracy theory plot. Coming back are the vehicles, crazily creative and build-able weapons, in addition to the biggest amount of zombies on one screen. All of this is wrapped in a nice Christmas setting. I hope you enjoy this as much as I have and make sure to dress up Frank in some crazy skins.

5. 'Halo 5: Guardians'

Halo 5 as it suggests is the fifth installment into the Master Chief story in the Halo universe and, with trailers coming out showing us Locke and his team hunting down Master Chief and Blue team, let me say that this game becomes a million times better if the campaign is played with friends. This turns the campaign from meh solo story mode to insanely fun co-op experience with friends. If I get into the multiplayer I'll keep writing for hours, so let's just say it's one of the most fun online multiplayer experiences from the last ten years.

4. 'Sunset Overdrive'

To say Sunset Overdrive by Insomniac Games is crazy funny and insane would not be doing this game justice. Sunset Overdrive is a new and refreshing IP, and it embraces the full crazy, fourth wall-breaking humor that so many people love, and it succeeds. All that coupled with great third person action parkour and shooting makes this game a definite must buy. Oh, and did I mention the beautiful open world and gorgeous art style and design?

3. 'Gears of War 4'

Ever since the great Gears of War 3 came out marking the end of Marcus' story line, every gamer was patiently waiting for the next chapter in the Gears franchise. Well, look no further! This time around we fool Marcus' son J.D and his two friends, Kait Diaz and Del, as they try to stop the new locust from attacking and destroying the world, as well as facing off against the newly reformed COGs. A plus to a great story and excellent actions and gameplay, gamers get the best Gears of War online multiplayer since the franchise began. Just a heads up, keep an eye out for Marcus' tomatoes.

2. 'Forza Horizon 3'

The best entry into the Forza franchise, Horizon 3 takes us to the beautifully sunny Australia, where we can drive on all sorts of terrain, whether it's the shore of a beach, between giant trees, buildings, or in the open desert areas. Is that not enough to convince you to grab this masterpiece? Fine. How about being able to choose from over 350 amazingly gorgeous cars, which all handle smoothly, and each car having its own traits beneficial to races.

Looks real, right? Well, it's just Forza Horizon 3.

1. 'Cuphead'

Beautiful art design + classic Disney art style + great co-op + crazy difficult bosses and levels = One hell of a time. Whether you play this solo or with a friend, this game is fantastic, fun, and rewarding with it great gameplay mechanics. All you have to do is jump, duck, shot, oh and not die. It plays like an old Mega Man game and is a blast. It's definitely the best game on the Xbox One and I don't have to tell you this but it's a MUST BUY for anyone with an Xbox One. Try not to break your controller like I did.

Cuphead (Duh)

Thanks for reading this everyone! Hope you enjoyed it, and if you agree with my list please feel free to share it.
