It's been only a few days since the opening moments of BioWare and EA's upcoming title Anthem had made my heart skip a couple of beats. It was a game that graced us with wonderment, beauty, and astonishing mechanics that could leave many curious to just what we would experience next year. From legendary guns, to exotics, to our own unique loadouts that would cause us to leave our enemies reeling in agony from our bombardments of mortars, bullets, and explosive capabilities.
However, something captured the eyes of many as the gameplay for #Anthem got underway at Microsoft's E3 2017 press conference regarding the Xbox One X: Anthem was in both first person in the central hub and third person in the open world. This lead to many of us taking to Twitter in order to question the team about it. Their response? It'll leave you quivering with excitement.
And guess what? Jonathan Warner, Director of Anthem at BioWare gave us the response many of us weren't expecting.
There you have it folks. Anthem, in 2018, will be both first and third person, allowing fans to immerse themselves how they see fit, and in a way they can hopefully enjoy their game. However, he wasn't done answering questions there from the fans, instead he kept on going with responses, which should very well have you even more excited about the future of this game.
While #Destiny very well had the chance to offer this up with ships and spares; we could very well tell that BioWare is pulling out every stop possible for the game. We can only cross our fingers in hope that they know they've already begun to capture the hearts of their fans. For now, however, there's no doubt that Anthem will remain on every bodies watch list until the day it launches.
