'Fire Emblem: Three Houses'

Great game! My time with the game

I have been into games since I was about eight years old, and here now, I am 32. I love JRPGs the most next to tactical strategy and some casual.

I recently got the Fire Emblem: Three houses - Warfare Edition for my birthday, and boy was I stoked! I am a fan of the series itself so of course I had to have this.

I started on hard mode, casual because I really do not enjoy losing characters, especially when I get attached to a lot of them. I have not beat the game yet, but I just can't stop playing it. I find myself staying up late until my switch is dying, and then give into being tired. I don't really want to stop playing at it. Me and my fiancé have been doing this little competition over it, where we play it, see how far one gets, and then judge it based off who passed out to sleep first. He is very much ahead of me, because I indulge too much with the beauty of the game, and my medications make me sleepy.

I picked the Golden Deer, because for one, a deer, and second, Claude. He is easily my favorite out of my students, my second being Raphael, and third Marianne.

I love the cut scenes in this game, they are simply beautiful, and the voice overs sound pretty good to me as well. I also enjoy the small simulation-like instruction parts and roaming around the city. I just wish there was more time off in the game to do more stuff, but I also understand why there may not be.

As of now, I give students teachings and class change based off personality, especially when I feel one is being a brat. *cough Lysithea cough,* I feel she would make a good rider or Pegasus Knight. Claude will remain an archer based class, as I find he is really good with that and a sword.

While I haven't beat it just yet, I think this is a game worth trying out! Beautiful scenes, decent challenging tactic battles, and the story is pretty good as well (I keep assuming Rhea and Sethis are the bad guys).

I also just found out it has new game plus! That easily made me more excited, because I love when games add in that feature! I am looking forward to the growth of my characters.

The only thing so far that I find I miss is nothing big. I miss the children feature where, after the time skip, you had offspring with their own stats and such. I quite enjoyed that, and well, I do hope it comes back in later game releases.

I have avoided looking up guides, because I want to figure it out on my own for the most part.

I have ended up putting Undertale (I was late to the party on this one so it is first time playing it), aside to play through this instead.

If you dislike strategy and tactic RPG style games, this may not be the game for you. It has some simulation moments. I still push you to give it a try as well! My fiancé has always been into shooters mostly, but he grabbed this game since I was getting it, and he has been hooked since release! He tried picking back up Call of Duty, but ending up setting it back down and saying, "but I need more emblem fire." I am very happy he is enjoying it as I would not think he would have.

Give Fire Emblem: Three Houses a try today!

I will be writing more in the future about it as I get further into my game!
